The Dove of the Flame Candleholder beautifully embodies the Holy Spirit through light and form. A descending dove, wings spread in divine motion, hovers above a rising flame cradle where a standard tealight rests. When lit, the candle’s glow radiates upward, illuminating the dove’s wings and transforming the piece into a living expression of Pentecost — light descending from heaven.

This model prints wonderfully in both silk PLA for a radiant, reflective sheen, and matte PLA for a more natural stone-like depth that enhances every feather detail. It’s designed for a standard-size tealight (39mm) and uses supports that are minimal and easy to remove.

✨ Inspiration / Behind the Design

This piece was inspired by the moment of divine descent described in Acts 2 — when the Holy Spirit appeared as tongues of fire. The dove symbolizes purity, peace, and the Spirit’s gentle power, while the flame represents God’s living presence within us.

When lit, the candle’s glow rises through the open flame cradle and reflects beneath the dove’s wings, symbolizing the Spirit descending to dwell among us. It’s a visual prayer — a reminder that light is never distant, but always within reach.

The Dove of the Flame Candleholder is designed not just as décor, but as a quiet act of reflection — a sculpted devotion to the beauty of faith illuminated.
