Proto 9 Captain America version AMS not required

🛡️ CAPTAIN AMERICA – Proto9-Based Avengers Model

Hey friends!

Here comes a brand-new Avengers character: Captain America!

If you’ve never printed or assembled Proto9, I highly recommend starting with that first—it’ll make this build much easier.

🧩 About the Model

This design includes many split parts to avoid using AMS and still achieve multi-color results.
I wanted users without AMS to be able to create colorful characters using just filament swaps.

This approach takes much more time than designing for AMS or single-color prints.
If I were modeling for AMS only, I could finish much faster.

Honestly, I’m not sure what people prefer—so feel free to let me know in the comments!

If Bambu Lab ever releases a tool-changing printer, I might just go full AMS for everything 😄

🛠 Assembly & Printing Tips

• No separate assembly manual this time—please refer to the YouTube video.

• If you print using PLA, joints may loosen over time.
  I uploaded a video showing how I fix that using nail polish—it worked great for me!

• My video includes subtitles, so feel free to check out other videos too.
• Nail polish seems cheaper and more effective than other options (though I haven’t searched much—haha).

⚠️ Please be careful during assembly, especially with small or tight-fitting parts.

🧱 Plate Guide

• BLUE_PARTS: Frame and blue-colored parts
• BROWN_PARTS: Brown-colored parts
• RED_PARTS: Abdomen and shield
• WHITE_PARTS: Forearms, abdomen, shield, and star
• SKIN_PART: Face
• AMS: Use only if the abdomen part is difficult to assemble after printing

• Arranged using Bambu Studio’s default layout
• If you’ve printed Proto9 before, this one should be easy to handle
• Please—try Proto9 first before jumping into this one!
