Description

For some reason every Nebula camera mount I have found is modeled around using the cameras existing heavy bottom mount which then just barely clears the printers display.  That and adding any extra weight to the gantry on these printers is never good.  So I designed a couple compact mounts that are designed to take the place of the existing camera base and hold the camera directly.  I also added a friction holder at the top if you want to secure the cameras wire a little better.

Printed on it's back side no supports are necessary.  Any type of filament should be ok although if you are using a enclosure you probably want to go with something a little more heat resistant then PLA.  Standard settings should work as when printed on it's side the bending to get the camera into the mount are perpendicular to the layer lines.

There are two versions, a very compact version (v1) and a slightly beefier version (v2).  Both work well, I haven't had any issues with either pulling off or the camera coming loose.  However v2 does lower the camera by about 5mm lower and cradles it better and straighter while v1 lets it “float” slight more so you could wedge something small under the front or back if you want to angle it up or down by a degree or two.  If you aren't sure which to try pick v2.
