Description

An advanced remix of the original anti-vibration arm, specifically engineered for heavier action cameras like the Insta360 X4/X5. This design utilizes innovative multi-material 3D printing technology—combining PETG with sacrificial PLA support material—to achieve optimal print orientation and structural integrity. By strategically using PLA supports during printing, the arm achieves superior layer alignment and reinforced geometry at both ends, resulting in enhanced rotation resistance, vibration dampening, and overall durability. The support structure is removed post-print, leaving a precisely engineered PETG component with superior strength-to-weight ratio. Perfect for demanding applications requiring reliable stabilization during high-action filming.

This remix takes the original anti-vibration arm and optimizes it specifically for the Insta360 X4’s increased weight and length. The key innovation is utilizing multi-material 3D printing with PLA support structures to achieve superior print orientation and structural alignment in PETG. The strategically placed sacrificial PLA supports are printed alongside the PETG component, allowing for better layer geometry and reinforced strength at both mounting ends. Once printed, the PLA supports are removed, revealing a precisely engineered PETG arm with significantly enhanced rotation resistance and vibration dampening capabilities. This approach demonstrates how advanced 3D printing techniques can dramatically improve structural performance in custom camera accessories.
