This is a highly detailed replica of the Duotone Gonzales kiteboard. Unlike standard flat keychains, this model is designed using a "Sandwich" technique (printing two halves face-down) to achieve a premium textured finish on both the deck and the base using a PEI plate.
The profile includes 2 Versions:
1. PRO Edition (Display Model)
- Larger Scale: Increased size for maximum detail and text legibility.
- Footstraps (Inlay System): The pads and straps are printed as separate pieces and "drop in" to the deck recesses. This adds realistic volume and allows for clean colors using a single AMS.
- 4x Detachable Fins: Includes 4 separate fins for the base. Printing them separately ensures perfect white color without bleeding from the dark base.
2. LITE Edition (Everyday Carry)
- Compact & Rugged: Smaller size with flat graphics.
- One Piece Feel: Designed to withstand daily pocket use without snagging.
Assembly & Tolerances
- Sandwich Body: The two board halves feature a male/female alignment system with a 0.3mm tolerance for a smooth fit.
- Inlays (Pro): The footstraps and fins fit into their respective recesses with a 0.3mm clearance.
- Gluing: Use a few drops of CA Glue (Super Glue) to join the halves and secure the straps and fins.
Recommended Print Settings
- Nozzle: 0.2mm High Precision (Highly recommended for crisp text Lite version). 0.4mm nozzles can be used but small text may lose definition.
- Layer Height: 0.20mm.
- Infill: 15% Gyroid.
- Support: No supports needed.
- AMS: Required (4 Colors).
