Minnow fishing lure

I made these minnows in various sizes for trout and chub fishing, but they can also be used for other predators of similar size.

 

Materials used:

• Stainless steel split rings (8 KR-02-500pcs): https://it.aliexpress.com/item/1005005131879277.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.order_list_main.80.43033696U6HNJY&gatewayAdapt=glo2ita
• Lead balls
• PLA or PETG
• Fishing lure eyes (3.5 mm and 4.5 mm)

All lures are sinking, but they can be made floating by inserting less lead inside.

Recommended lead ballast:

• Minnow 55: 2 × 1.5 g balls
• Minnow 70: 2 × 2 g balls

After gluing the two parts of the lure together with the lead and the stainless steel rings inside, coat the lure with epoxy resin to make it waterproof.
