Description
I was recently put on Ozempic and I needed a travel case, but nothing out there was exactly what I needed/wanted. Lots of good ideas, but no design had it all. So I took all the best ideas, combined them, and made my own.
This case (either version) holds one pen, 4 to 6 alcohol swabs, and 4 32G x 4mm needles (these are the ones that come with the Ozempic and Mounjaro pens). I bought some 3rd party needles from amazon and sized the case to make sure those fit too (they were a bit taller, you can see them in the pictures).
The Ozempic case fits pens up to 164mm long, and with a diameter of 21mm or less. The Mounjaro KwikPen case fits pens up to 151mm long, and with a diameter of 21mm or less. Either one of these cases will probably also work with other pens on the market, like diabetes insulin pens, etc. However, I personally have not tried other pens, so no guarantees.
EDIT: The V2 pen has been confirmed to fit well.
The Ozempic case uses just over 70 grams of filament and prints in just under 2½ hours, and the Mounjaro case uses 66 grams and prints 15 minutes faster. The hinges print in place and just work, and there are no supports needed. The cases have been prepared for 4 5x2 magnets, but I find that they are not needed, so I do not install them myself. If you do install magnets, keep in mind that a superglue bond could weaken in the fridge.
I put the Ozempic and Mounjaro logos on the lid. If you do not want the case to say anything, there is also a logo-less version in the 3mf file. If you are using the stls, and you do want the Ozempic or Mounjaro logo on your case, you can fill the letters easily yourself by using a flood fill tool with edge detection. The logos do require an AMS system or similar.
