 Cannibal Style Custom Mold – 12cm Legendarny Kiler

 

This is a two-piece DIY mold for casting 12cm soft plastic lures. The design is heavily inspired by the iconic Savage Gear Cannibal, featuring a similar silhouette and profile. Please note: this is not a 1:1 scan or copy, but a custom-designed model optimized for 3D printing and home hobbyist casting.

✅ Project Features:

• Size: 12cm (approx. 4.7 inches) – a versatile size for Pike, Zander, and large Bass.
• Precision Fit: Includes 4 alignment pins to ensure the mold halves lock perfectly, minimizing flashing/seams.
• C-Style Geometry: Designed to mimic the classic predator-style shape that is proven to be effective.
• Customization: Allows you to pour your own unique color patterns and salt/scent combinations.

⚙️ Print Settings (Recommendations):

• Material: PETG, ABS, or ASA are recommended for better heat resistance against hot plastisol.
• Layer Height: 0.12mm (High Quality) is best to achieve a smooth surface on the final lure without sanding.
• Wall Loops: At least 4-5 walls for structural integrity and to prevent leaking.
• Infill: 20-25% (Gyroid recommended).

Pro Tip: Apply a tiny amount of mold release or silicone oil to the cavity before pouring for an easy release and a high-gloss finish.
