🐟 7cm Swallow Style Soft Bait Mold (Inspiration) 🎣

A custom-designed mold for pouring soft plastic lures. This project was inspired by the Mikado Fish Fry, but features several key design adjustments.

✨ Design Features:

• Redesigned Tail: A different tail style compared to the original, providing a unique look.
• Modified Body: Tweaked torso geometry for a fresh profile.
• Size: 7 cm – a versatile size for various predatory fish. 🌊
• Perfect Alignment: Includes registration pins to ensure both halves of the mold line up perfectly every time.

🛠️ 3D Printing Settings:

• Material: PET-G, ABS, or Nylon are recommended due to the high temperature of liquid plastisol.
• Layer Height: 0.12mm or lower for a smooth surface finish on the lure.
• Walls/Perimeters: Use at least 3-4 walls for better durability and seal.

💡 Pro Tip:

Apply a small amount of mold release or silicone oil before pouring to ensure easy removal of the bait. For a high-gloss finish, the mold cavity can be lightly sanded or polished. 🛠️
