Bring a unique twist to your 3D prints with this detailed energy-drink–style can model! This versatile design can be used either as a stylish piggy bank or as a glowing LED can, simply by placing a small artificial candle or LED light inside. When illuminated, the translucent effect creates an impressive glowing appearance.

 

The model is split into four parts to reduce the need for supports and to make printing easier and cleaner. A multicolor AMS version is also included for users who want a more realistic can-style finish.

 

Note: I didn’t have time to take a photo of all four parts separately, as one of them was already glued before I took the pictures. However, you can clearly see all parts in the preview images from the STL file.

🧩 Model Parts (4 pieces)

1. Main cylinder – includes all embossed decorative details.
2. Bottom screw part – attaches under the cylinder.
3. Slotted plate – the coin entry piece, to be glued under the top.
4. Top lid – clips onto the cylinder using two small plastic connectors.

🛠️ Assembly Instructions

1️⃣ Printing

• Designed to minimize support requirements thanks to the four-piece split.
• Best printed in PLA.
• A multicolor AMS version is included but has not yet been test-printed. If you try it, please share a photo or comment!

2️⃣ Assembly

1. Glue the slotted plate under the top lid.
2. Clip the top lid onto the cylinder.
   • ⚠️ The connectors fit in only one orientation, so align them carefully before gluing.
3. Screw the bottom part under the cylinder.
4. Add your function:
   • Piggy bank: ready to use.
   • LED can: insert a small LED or artificial candle.

💡 Tips

• Use a light or translucent PLA for the best glowing effect.
• A small amount of glue ensures a secure fit on the top.
• The fixing system may be improved in a future update.
