🛠️ Description
This model is in my opinion the ultimate angle‑setting jig system designed for the Veritas Side‑Clamping Honing Guide. The system includes two jigs—an upper and a lower setting block—allowing accurate registration using either clamping jaw. A sliding dovetail bar runs through the jig, enabling quick selection of sharpening angles in 5‑degree increments, providing repeatable setups for common bevels.
Each jig includes countersunk mounting holes so it can be screwed down to a sharpening station or fitted with a cleat for hands‑free use. The dovetail slider has been precisely tolleranced to ensure there is no slop or excessive deflection during use.Â
