Description

I have updated my combine decoration model to be better suited for use as a toy.

Assembly Instructions:

  1. Pre-thread 4 nylon lock nuts (this makes attaching the wheels much easier).

2. Insert the feed house into the front of the frame and lock in place using the long locking bar, ensure the raised lip on the feed house is facing up.

3. Insert the nut into each slot on the bottom of the frame, then attach each wheel. Be sure to not over tighten so the wheels can still spin free. If the nut begins to spin try placing a small flathead screwdriver in the slot to hold it in place.

4. Place a moderate amount of glue on the end of the unloading auger and then hold the unloading auger end chute in place until it holds. Next remove support from the internal end of the auger and press it into the main body.

5. Add some glue to the inside of the hopper void and slide the hopper in.

6. Steps 6-8 are up to personal preference, you may find it easier to assemble the entire cab before attaching it to the main body. Apply some glue to the top of the fram and set the main body, ensure the lip where the cab will sit is aligned before the glue sets.

7. Apply glue to the alignment slots where the cab will sit as well as to the bottom of the cab. Place the cab floor and cab on the main body ensuring they are aligned before the glue sets.

8. Apply glue to the top rim of the cab and attach the cab roof, again ensure it is properly aligned before the glue dries.

9. Apply glue to the corner seam of the guard rail and hold in place till it dries.

10. Place the combine on its right side (you may need to prop it up with something). Apply glue to the edge of the cab floor and align the ladder, you will need to balance something on it to keep it from falling onto the wheel.

11. Insert the header auger into the header and slide the header onto the feeder house.
