Daffodil 🌼🎗

An elegant decorative daffodil designed for 3D printing, perfect as an interior decoration, a small gift, or as part of a larger floral arrangement. The model is designed with a separate stem and flower head, allowing easy printing  and the option to combine different colors.

 

The daffodil looks great when printed in PLA, but feel free to experiment with other materials for different visual effects. A finer layer height is recommended for a smoother surface and better detail on the flower.

⚠️ Assembly note:

 

This object is difficult to print and therefore it was necessary to find a suitable printing orientation using supports, so please be patient while removing the supports, but the result is worth it!

If the daffodil flower feels loose or wobbles in the stem, simply secure it with a small drop of super glue (cyanoacrylate glue). This will create a strong and clean joint. 

 

If you have scratches after removing the supports, simply run a small flame through the model using a jet lighter.

🖨️ Printing recommendation:

 

If you are printing daffodil in dual color, I recommend printing them in as many pieces as possible due to the large amount of waste when changing filaments… or just use feature flushing into another object. 

 

If the flower does not stick to the plate when printing and comes off every time, I recommend thoroughly degreasing the plate and checking if the brim is enabled.
