Description
Hello,
Here is a stinger hook tying jig. It is adjustable to 4 different stinger lengths (1.5", 2", 2.5", 3"). This design requires inexpensive heat insert threads and threaded pins (links below). I also added some rubber feet to mine to keep the jig from moving around while tying. This is optional, but the design has pre-drilled holes on the underside for the rubber feet fasteners (Links below for feet and fasteners as well). I printed mine at 50% infill so it had a little weight to it to help hold the jig in place. I was able to easily install the threaded heat install inserts by putting the insert around a soldering iron tip and pushing them in place by hand. Before the inserts cool down make sure to put a pin in and get them straight (I used a small square). I hope you enjoy this print! please share pictures of your print or even better some pictures of the fish you catch with your new stinger hooks. If you enjoy the print feel free to like this print.
