Description
While a Scheels earlier in the week I picked up a new small tacklebox for my son. I had previously checked Makerworld and it looked like there were bin models for creating inserts for the box. Unfortunately, the Plano Waterproof Stowaway 3600 and the Plano Prolatch Stowaway 3600, have different internal configurations and the Prolatch bins I found will not fit into the Waterproof.
A couple of design-hours later, and that problem has been solved.
Contents:
I have created a single bin and a double bin. The single bin is intended for small items like weights or maybe small hooks. In most cases, you'll probably need to remove the bin to get to the contents, but that really depends on your finger size. It is designed to fit into the space between the dividers.
The double bin occupies two dividers spaces, and offers more room.
Design:
The bins are designed to fit snugly so they require some force to insert and remove. Additionally, I've made them tall enough so the top of the tackle box engages with the top of the bin so you should not have spillage should the box be overturned. That also means you can't put these boxes anywhere.
One of the photos contains red markings showing where these bins will not fit.
