Antenna guy anchor recess

One of my other models is a DX Commander-style antenna.  It requires four guy ropes.  Cutting the grass required I remove the guy rope and stake, mow and then get a mallet and drive the stake into the ground again.

 

This is a cup that is buried with the top of the cup level with the top of the dirt and a screw-type anchor installed.  With it buried properly, you can then disconnect your guy rope, cut the grass over it and then quickly reconnect it.

 

NOTE: If any of the cup is above ground level, running it over with a riding mower will break it.  (Dont' ask me how I know this.)

 

Because it's outside, PETG is recommended.
