FG Knot Tool

Need the extra hand to tie an FG knot. Well this will help you. Designed to be used in 2 different ways. The mount can either be clamped or screwed to a table or if you are on the beach you can squeeze the main handle between your knees.

There are many designs out there but i wanted to design my own to suit my style of fishing.

INSTRUCTIONS

to complete this setup of the FG Knot tool you will need

2 x M6 x 35mm hex head bolts

2 x M6 x 45mm hex head bolts

4 x 6mm nuts

1. Push the bolts onto the thumb screws
2. Place the left and right arm together and using a 45mm bolt tighten it down with 1 of the nuts imbedded into the handle. make sure the arms both have the hex nut at the back
3. If using the washers place 2 on the 35mm bolts and then feed into the arms with nuts
4. if using the mount feed handle into mount and then use the 45mm bolt to attach it
5. start by opening the arms to about 260mm
6. place the braid across the arms and make one loop between the washers and tighten down
