Summary

I used some filament cleaner block from voltivo (http://voltivo.com/product/filament-cleaner-block) and find them really reduced clogging a lot for my printer.
but they're quiet expansive, I got 2 of them from local 3d printer store as a sample.
each time I want to switch filament, I gotta take it off and plug into other filament.

that's troublesome!

so I just drew my own.

it also serves as a holding clip, so no more bending of filament when I just want to store them.
just snap the clip to the edge of the spool and you can put the spool back to the shelf.

Post-Printing

grab some towel, cut them into strips, and wrap them onto the filament, then stuff them into the chamber.

make sure the friction is not too high that you can't slide the filament easily, or the extruder would have problem pulling them out.
