Fishing Waste Line Collector

This is a "must have" if you fish... there's nothing worse than seeing discarded fishing line while out fishing or laying in the bottom of your boat. Discarded line can also impose a threat to wildlife. These are a few waste line collectors that can easily be printed to help contain any waste line you may have (or find) while out fishing.

The larger version uses (2) 6/32"x1/8" set screws to hold the barrel in the body while the smaller one just snaps together (be careful as the tabs are fragile though on the smaller version) They both use a piece of the hook portion from some sticky back Velcro to grab the line. A split ring or clip can be inserted into the top while printing.

To use - just hold the line against the hole and then just spin the barrel to wind in the waste line. Works great for long or short pieces of discarded line. When full remove the barrel from the body and cut along the groove of the barrel to remove the old line. Simple as that.

***9-28-19 Update = *** WLC2 Barrel 2019.STL has thicker tabs and are rotated so they are not in front of the opening. (I have not printed or tested this myself as I have not broke my original one yet.)

***5-1-21 Update = WLC2 Barrel 2021.STL Finally broke my original one so this new version three tabs that I have tested and this version works great.

Deleted all other old versions of WLC2 Barrel.
