Description
I liked the original design, but I figured if I were to make more or to upscale the part that I'd like to split it into two parts. The original design's panel is ingenious; you print it flat but bend it into shape. I unitized this into the base and split another base into a cap - I just run a bead of cyano-glue and put something heavy on top until it all activated. The hole is 6mm, you may want to upscale for 1/4" allthread. The idea is to use race bearings top and bottom on a threaded rod with these rigid to it, turning in a base with a generator on the bottom. Or, maybe, once scaled waaaaay up.
Bonus basic savonius design since you all have star trek printers and wind tunnels to test with.
