Description
This is a silicone mold to build your own silicone dampers. I use them for my DIY lawn mower. They connect the lower body with the upper chassis. Because they are flexible, the entire chassis acts as bumper.
The resulting dampers are 30mm high and 28mm in diameter. This mold is to build two of them. You need to print the mold (Form) and the cover (Formdeckel) once, the part named composite four times.
To build dampers, you need some M6 screws (hex) and nuts. Depending on your needs, you can put some nuts and bolts into composite parts as shown in pictures.
Also add some M6 Nuts as spacers because composite parts must not have contact with bottom or top of the mold (see drawings).
You need 25-30g of 2K silicone for one damper. I use shore 32 2K RTV silicone from trollfactory.de
