Dust Deputy Vacuum Mount

These are hose adapters and mounting hardware I designed for my Dust Deputy / Rigid shop vac combo. The Legs are 1 1/2" PVC pluming. I used "T" instead of elbows because with the tops of the legs open you can build off of them for more storage, or slip things like the 1&1/4" floor wand in them. Print all the hose adapters from your choice of filament and glue together. Print the leg clamps in your filament and the clamp bands in TPU, and assemble. The hinge pin of the clamp lock lever has a 1.8mm hole through it to glue a piece of filament in for reinforcement. It may need to be reamed. Cut the bottom of one bucket off even with the bottom of the second bucket when it sits inside of it. (Save the cut off portion, it makes an ideal tray to soak and clean saw blades in when they get gummed up.) Assemble as shown. If the bucket lid is not rigid you'll need to reinforce it, or the vacuum will collapse it into the bucket. (ask me how I know.) Attaching the printed end caps to the cut-down bucket with large head rivets cinches it all together very solidly. A small flashlight shone through the back of the tube works well to spot the rivet holes in the bucket. (see image) The hose between the vacuum and the Dust Deputy is 2-1/2' flexible dust collection hose. It screws onto the printed elbows without any need for clamps.

Edit: I've reworked the hose connections between the Dust Deputy and the Rigid shop vac to use a section of Rigid 2 1/2" vacuum hose after creating a hose wye for my router table. The .stl files are delineated either DD CH for Dust deputy coil hose, or DD RH for the Rigid brand hose.
