Ball and Socket Vac Adapter

This is a ball and socket vac adapter for power tools with 30mm hose connection and 36mm vac nozzles (Kärcher).

This adapter improves handling of power tools a lot. It gives more freedom to the vac connection. The vac hose can rotate freely and tilt within 15° in each direction. Especially the freedom in rotation eases handling a lot.

I designed it for my Bosch PBS 75 belt sander. The vac port being perpendicular to the handle makes handling very annoying. With this adapter the connection gets some freedom and a more usable direction. I used the 22.5° version at the tool and the 60° version at the vac side to get 90° of bending.

The ball side is locked with an shallow nut on the socket side. An custom wrench to move the nut is also provided.

To fit a wider variety of tools I offer versions with 0°, 10°, 22.5°, 45° and 60° of bending.
