Description
Not convinced of the stock solution, I made this support for spool and filament sensor using almost everything that is supplied.
I made several prints and have not encountered any problems.
The filament falls plumb following a very natural path and absolutely does not affect the maximum printing height.
To use the supplied screws I used "Ruthex" type nuts (#4 M3 + #2 M4).
If the same type of filament sensor is used, the system is also compatible with Creality models. It has been found that some sensors have the exit hole 3mm forward, so I have prepared a supports (Support:NextG_5.stl) with 3mm more base. See photos.
