Virpil VPC Desk Mount linear rail adapter for MongoosT / WarBRD / Stream Deck

Mount your Virpil Throttle and Stick to linear rails so you can slide them along your desk.
This allows you to move your HOTAS aside when you use the computer for other work.
When flying your aircraft or spaceship, a spring-loaded locking meachanism holds your HOTAS securely in place.

The files are designed for the VPC Desk Mount V2/V3:

which is compatible with the VPC MongoosT-50 Throttle.

An adapter plate for Virpil Flightsticks (VPC WarBRD Base) is included (with and without a mounting option for the 15 button Elgato Stream Deck (MK.1). MongoosT Base untested.

PRINT FILES

• VPC_Desk_Mount_Rail_Adapter-Stick_full_assembly.obj is one fully assembled example mount for one flight stick. This is just one example how the parts fit together. Do not print this. I am not sure if all contained objects are the final version.
• For one Throttle mount, you will need need a full set of VPC_Desk_Mount_Rail_Adapter-Throttle_ files plus a full set of VPC_Desk_Mount_Rail_Adapter-Chain_ files.
• For one Stick mount, you will need need a full set of VPC_Desk_Mount_Rail_Adapter-Stick_ files plus a full set of VPC_Desk_Mount_Rail_Adapter-Chain_ files and either VPC_Desk_Mount_Stick_Adapter-Plain.obj (for Stick only) or VPC_Desk_Mount_Stick_Adapter-Stream-Deck.obj (for Stick plus 15 button Elgato Stream Deck MK.1) to connect the VPC WarBRD base to the VPC Desk Mount V2/V3.
• VPC_Desk_Mount_Rail_Adapter-Chain_start.obj is designed for the left hand side while VPC_Desk_Mount_Rail_Adapter-Chain_end.objis designed for the right hand side (sorry). Please mirror appropriately.
• VPC_Desk_Mount_Stick_Adapter-Stream-Deck.obj is designed for the Stream Deck to be on the left hand side of the Flightstick. Please mirror appropriately.

ADDITIONAL HARDWARE (per Throttle / per Stick)

A VPC WarBRD Base with Grip (I am using VPC Constellation ALPHA-L / ALPHA-R) or a VPC MongoosT-50CM2 / 50CM3 Throttle, and one VPC Desk Mount V2/V3.

For each Mount:

• Table top / countertop: solid wood or butcher block
• Inner roller bearing linear guide: 2x SGR10-1000L or 2x SGR10-500L

• Wood Screws: M3 or equivalent (as long as your table top is thick)
  I used #6 x 1-in Flat Head screws (which is the upper limit the linear guide will be able to handle)

  6 x M2.5, 3mm long 90 Degree Countersink Flat Head (Laptop) Screw to fasten the drag chain to the Chain_start and Chain_end parts
  8 x M4 × 0.7 mm, 20 mm long 90 Degree Countersink Flat Head Screw to connect the Ball Bearing Roller to Throttle_top or Stick_top part

• Super Glue: **Cyanoacrylate ** (and accelerator) - for example Pen Kit Mall MAXI-CURE and INSTA-SET
  to glue VPC_Desk_Mount_Rail_Adapter-Chain_end.obj to VPC_Desk_Mount_Rail_Adapter-Throttle_top.obj or VPC_Desk_Mount_Rail_Adapter-Stick_top.obj (this was the easiest solution)

For each Stick:

• 6x M5 x 0.8 mm Hex Nut to connect Stick_top part to Stick_bottom part
• 6x M5 x 0.8 mm, 65 mm long 90 Degree Countersink Flat Head Screw to connect Stick_bottom part to Stick_top part

For each Throttle:

• 6x M5 x 0.8 mm Hex Nut to connect Throttle_top part to Throttle_bottom part
• 6x M5 x 0.8 mm, 30 mm long 90 Degree Countersink Flat Head Screw to connect Throttle_bottom part to Throttle_top part

Additionally for the VPC WarBRD Base adapter plate:

• 4x M5 x 0.8 mm Hex Nut
• 4x M5 x 0.8 mm, 16 mm long Socket Head Screw (come with the VPC Desk Mount V2/V3)
