GNK: A Nerf Dual stage Brushless Solenoid Blaster

Introducing GNK, a Dual Stage Brushless powered Solenoid Mag in Grip Blaster.

This utilises 1408 size brushless motors in a dual stage configuration, as well as using a FJ-Z05 Solenoid as the pusher, and uses straight Talon magazines.

This is a blaster that requires a certain degree of understanding for how brushless motors work, as well as an understanding of how they are used within the Nerf hobby.

The pusher is a "blowback" style system, with the solenoid pushing the top slide backwards, which in turn moves the pusher that cycles darts into the flywheels.

This blaster also has slots for a potentiometer and 3 position switch, which enables flywheel speed control and select fire features for the solenoid.

I would recommend running this on a 4s lipo, so the solenoid has plenty of power to feed darts reliably.

Parts needed:

• 4x Emax RS 1408 brushless motors
• 4x Flywheels (Using Airzone's flywheels found in their Velco and Mackrel blasters https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4927680)
• 1x FJ-Z05 Solenoid (Remove the return spring on this, you do not need it as the 2 slide springs do more than enough work)
• 1x Arduino Nano and buck converter (Narfduino can be used without a buck)
• 1x 4 in 1 ESC (ESC with onboard BEC can be used, eliminating the need for a separate buck for the arduino)
• 1x 10K Potentiometer (With 6mm Shaft)
• 1x 3 Position Switch
• 1x V4 Microswitch
• 1x Small Pen Spring (For trigger)
• 1x 5.5mm Spring cut down for the Mag Release
• 2x 5.5mm x 38mm Compression Spring (For Slide)
• 1x M3 Thumbscrew (Stryfe style)
• 4x M4*8 Bolts
• 26x M3*10 Screws
• 8x M3*18 Screws
• 4x M3*6 Screws

I highly recommend printing this in PETG, the motors can get very hot.

Supports will be needed for some of the STLs included.
