8x32 LED Matrix Diffuser Enclosure

*UDATE 01/15/2024 - Added Two sections called "No Hole A" and "No Hole B". Print these or tinker these if you want to add your own buttons/power ports etc.

UDATE 01/09/2024 - I added a middle section at the request of a thingiverse user. I HAVE NOT TESTED the middle section. 2 middle sections equals the length of an additional LED Matrix. If someone decides to print these let me know how you get on. Cheers and thanks for all the support! (tips welcome!) lol.

UPDATE 01/04/2024 - I have added a text file containing instructions on How To Upload a simple animation to your matrix (designed for 32x8 matrix) see files.

I hope you all enjoy this build. Please like and share. It took me quite some time and many prototypes before I nailed it.

The diffuser you need for this print is simply Stencil Sheets from a craft store, I got mine from Hobby Lobby, I've posted affiliate links to them down below with other items you'd need for the complete build. They make for a super clean look and diffuse perfectly without leaving a visual gap in the middle of your project (see photos).

The infill for the housing was 10% Grid, and supports were enabled.

There are two versions of this build, one has the hole for the power input on the far right and the other has it on the back. The filenames are A and B.

Build A has the hole for the female barrel connector on the far right
Build B has the hole for the female barrel connector at the back.

Both builds have a hole on the Left side for the power switch.

Make sure you print the pegs with a 30% Gyroid infill. This will give them sufficient sturdiness.
