Helical/Archimedes Adaptable Wind Turbine mk9 with slip ring

Description
Hi,
here is my design for a Helical/Archimedes Wind Turbine. I designed it from scratch in Inventor. I wanted an adapable wind turbine so I wasnt limited to a single motor/alternator/generator. Its built to be printable on a Bambu A1 with a max print size of 256mm x 256mm x 256mm. Of course you could scale it up if you have a bigger printer.
For the build I used common components that are easy to purchase from online retailers, I got all the parts I needed from just one. I went with a 10mm shaft as it's strong enough and there are loads of pulleys, bearings, adaptors ect available in that size. I also wanted it to be easy to put together.
The Turbine blade is hollow to fit the 10mm shaft, its a interference fit so you have to knock it through with a hammer. Or you can open up the center hole bit and bolt it on. On the model of the turbine blade there is a wheel, this is for printing to stop the base breaking away. Simply trim it off after its printed. I added images of print settings I used to print mine. keep it slow, dont print it all at once and let the bed cool before you remove parts to prevent warping.
I designed the Slip Ring using two thrust bearings as the contacts with some solid 1mm wire soldered on which seems to work well, or you could just buy one.
The 10mm thrust bearings go on the blade shaft before the mounts for the radial bearings with split clamps holiding them in place.
I designed the rear mount of the turbine cradel so it can be easily modifided to suit whatever motor/alternator/generator you want to use with it. As a motor mount for gear/pulley drive or tourque arm for direct drive. This way you can try out different designs and see which is best suited to you, so MOD away! Licence wise I'm happy for you to do this, I just dont want people reposting my work as their own.
Hope you have fun with this!
